All Electoral candidates contesting the 2022 general election in Malta were urged to sign a declaration committing to champion children’s rights and aspirations .

The Children’s Rights Observatory Malta (CROM), which is, a collaboration, between the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, and the Faculty for Social Wellbeing within the University of Malta invited candidates to sign an agreement to declare their political intent to push for children’s rights and child participation.

This initiative saw 68 electorial candidates come forward and pledge their will to work for children’s rights and child participation.
